Photographic Exhibit

The Consulate General of Mexico in Houston has the pleasure of inviting you to the photographic exhibit: A Glimpse into the Kitchen that will be showing at our premises located at 4507 San Jacinto St., Houston, TX 77004.

The opening will take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

A Glimpse into the Kitchen is a photographic exhibit property of the National Institute of Anthropology and History that through the National System of Photo Archives offers access to historic material, and that this time brings together a selection of photographs taken before and during the Mexican Revolution belonging to the Casasola Historic Archive and the C.B. Waite/W. Scott fund.

These photographs document and contrast the experiences of different segments of Mexican society, exploring their relations with food.

The Consulate General of Mexico is proud to participate in FotoFest 2012 with this exhibition. Attached you will find the invitation and notes from the curator.
